Fruit juices is also good alernatives to fresh fruits. But if you have diabetes, be careful of sweetened ones.
I'd like to continue my last post about good nutrition. My girls and I shopped for groceries today. Kan dah cuti sekolah, so dia orang mesti nak ikut punya lah.My choice is the fresh fruits and vegetables. Just look at their colours, they are so amazing. No wonder they contribute so much to our health benefit. Some fruits and vegetables can hinder and treat diabetes, blood pressure and coronary disease. They are several tips in treating diabetes:-
1. Add biter gourd in your diet. Cook them like any other vegetables, or make bitter gourd your salad of the day.
2. Take king of bitter capsules (a.k.a hempedu bumi in Malays) to control your blood sugar.
3. Eat small, regular meals instead of eating like a monster..
4. Exercise regularly, cos exercise will make our organs functions at their best.
Kalau boleh, makan buah-buahan sepokok cam ni, barulah bagus. Tanam sendiri buah-buah dan sayuran.
5. Instead of using sugar in your diet, beralih lah ke stevia. Stevia dibuat dari daun pokok stevia yang manis rasanya sama seperti gula. Dia tanpa kalori dan tidak mendatangkan mudharat kepada kesihatan kerana diproses dari bahan semulajadi.
